Review Process

Single-blind Peer-review Review

Asian Journal of Humanity, Art and Literature operates a single-blind peer-review process.

  • 28 days rapid review process with international peer-review standards.
  • The minimum turnaround time for processing of manuscript from submission to publication is 60 days.
  • The manuscript will be published within 7days of acceptance.

>> AJHAL review process – coordinated by the editorial office – begins on submission receipt.
>> The EIC (or his designate) ‘examines’ each submission to determine whether it might be appropriate for the peer-review process.
>> Some manuscripts may be rejected outright at review because the editor/designate deems the submission unsuitable for this journal. It may be poorly written or simply ring some alarms.
>> Based on the review feedback, the editor of this journal makes the final decision on whether to accept it for publication.

Does this journal publish anything, regardless of quality and without peer review?

This journal didn't follow the rule of paying the page charges and publishing; it doesn't accept any garbage for publication.
This journal is aware of the plagiarism problem. We have received submissions where 80-90% of the content was borrowed from other published papers. Numbers, tables, and figures are fabricated, and changed text and submitted appear to be original research. This journal uses power tools (Turnitin, Grammerly & Paperrater) to identify such practices.
